Nigel Holden and Martin Glisby are a very rare example of a business practitioner and a professor of management actively engaged in knowledge management research and publication. Over the years they have acquired major insights into tacit knowledge as a vital resource in firms' cross-cultural interactions for creating and sustaining international competitive advantage.
Their combined expertise covers 45 years of international business operations, management consultancy, cross-cultural management education and research as well as invited presentations and keynote addresses to academic audiences and practitioner gatherings world wide.
They have written academic articles together for journals such as The Academy of Management Executive and Knowledge and Process Management. One of their articles has been cited globally and has been selected for publication in Russia's first Handbook of Knowledge Management. Their first book Creating knowledge advantage: the tacit dimensions of international competition and cooperation appeared in April 2010.
